Christmas cards with a difference: photographs from Grimsby Library’s local history collection

Christmas cards with a differenceSnowy scenes of the local area from times-gone-by have been made into a collection of Christmas cards by Lincs Inspire Libraries.
Five photographs from Grimsby Library’s local history collection have been selected – Fryston Corner, Snowy Bargate, Hundleby Mill, the Pontoon and People’s Park Lodge.

They provide a renewed use of the vast photographic collection and offer a meaningful Christmas card for history enthusiasts, local family and friends or indeed those who live further afield.

The cards cost £1.50 each and are available from Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham and Waltham Libraries.
