A simple phone call could be all it takes to give Rock Foundation a funding boost for their Tech-Ability project as they go head to head against a Lincoln based charity on ITV’s People’s Millions.
A short film about Rock Foundation’s exciting project will be shown on ITV between 6 – 6.30pm on Monday the 24th November and voting lines will be open all day. The project with the most votes will take away £50,000 for their project!
Two voting lines will be released at 9am on the 24th in the Mirror and on the People’s Millions website. Calls cost a fixed 15p and you can call each voting line 10 times meaning you can make 20 votes for a great Grimsby charity from just one phone.
Our chosen project, Tech-ability, will empower local people with learning disabilities to be creative and exceed their own expectations, overcoming disability and difficulty through state of the art technology.
They will be able to produce stunning and beautiful things with a top of the range laser cutter and embroidery machine. At the simple touch of a screen their designs, drawings and ideas can be made reality in a way which is simply not possible by any other means.
What will £50k do?
How will it help local people?
